Grenadine Terms & Conditions
Effective August 11, 2026 ยท Version 2026-08-11-v1
1. Eligibility & account responsibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent to use Grenadine.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and credentials secure. One account per person; do not share login credentials.
2. Acceptable use
- You agree not to scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing product using data from the Service.
- You will not upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harassing content, including in employee notes or schedule comments.
- You are responsible for ensuring the schedules you create comply with applicable labor laws (including breaks, minor-hour rules, and overtime). Grenadine does not verify legal compliance of your schedules.
- Automated bots, scripts, or excessive requests against the Service are prohibited.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Your content & data ownership
- You own your schedule, employee, availability, and configuration data. You grant Grenadine a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate the Service for you.
- You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to store employee information (names, email addresses, availability) under applicable privacy law before adding it to the Service.
4. Employee & team member data
- When you invite viewers, employees, or other managers, you confirm you have the right to share their schedule information with them through the Service.
- Employees invited to view their schedule are not full account holders; their access is governed by the schedule owner or manager who invited them.
5. Schedule Intelligence & AI features
- Schedule Intelligence, auto-build, Smart Replace, split-fill, labor-cost analysis, and similar features are aids only. They are not professional, legal, or labor-law advice.
- You must review all suggestions before publishing. Grenadine is not liable for staffing decisions, labor-law violations, or business outcomes resulting from use of these features.
- We do not guarantee the engine's output will be optimal, complete, or error-free.
6. Payments & subscriptions (Grenadine Pro)
- Grenadine Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the Manage Subscription page; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not guarantee prorated refunds for partial billing cycles.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions retain the pricing in effect for the paid period.
- Administratively granted Pro access is revocable and carries no payment or refund guarantee.
7. Service availability & disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access.
- Scheduled maintenance and outages may occur. We are not liable for downtime or any resulting losses.
- We make no warranty that the Service will meet your specific business requirements.
8. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grenadine's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or a nominal amount if you paid nothing).
- In no event will Grenadine be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages.
- Grenadine is not liable for loss of data, scheduling errors, labor-law penalties, or the acts of third parties.
9. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grenadine from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your schedules, your employee data, your compliance with labor laws, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.
10. Privacy & data handling
- Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
- Deleting your account removes your schedules and associated shifts. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business records.
11. Intellectual property
- Grenadine owns the software, branding, designs, and content of the Service. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Service per these Terms.
- You may not remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices from the Service.
12. Third-party services
- Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; your use of Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards is subject to their terms.
- Integrations and exports (such as Google Sheets) depend on third-party providers and their availability.
13. Account suspension & termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, misuse, or legal reasons.
- Upon termination, your access ends. Export any data you need before termination.
14. Dispute resolution & governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grenadine operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
- Disputes will, where permitted, be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions). Claims not brought within one (1) year of the events giving rise to them are barred.
15. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes occur, we will notify you and may require you to agree to the updated version before continuing to use the Service.
- Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
